Sometime in September of 2011 I was haphazardly going through the list of movies streaming on Netflix and came across a catch of sorts entitled 'Infamy', a documentary on graffiti. On said documentary they followed a crew that took to painting on hats. After that I was determined to do this and do it right. I spent the next four months and $700+ on supplies and hats along with of course my own heart, soul and sweat and maybe a few tears, but alas it all began on my artistic/entrepreneur journey...

Five different types of hats were purchased along with many different paints/inks. And so it began, my trials of several odd combinations of the paints/inks (which went horribly wrong) were all tried out in joy, frustration and the will to figure out the best formula for the product. After all my trials and errors by January 2012 I had figured out the proper hat/paint and technique medley.

My hats do not have caked on paint. They do not have fabric chunks that collect. The design does not peel, chip or rub off in any way. They have survived rain, heavy rain, light rain even faucet water. They have been stepped on, sat on and thrown in the ditch. Daily activities have been tested. I worked hard on figuring out how to make you guys the best of quality hand-painted hats. And as you can see from what I have put up for sale, they are unique and you will never see one or two alike.

The best part about doing the hats has been the design sequence. I have truly enjoyed doing my own designs from scratch and the feeling I get when someone purchases them. From there I have moved on to more than just hats...

Lately with getting in touch with the Hemophilia community I have come to realize a simple fact: I have neglected to support the awareness of Hemophilia. So, on in April of 2013 I posted the first two prints of my 'Distressed Warning Signs' series. This series really hits home to me, really dug deep into my childhood and what it felt like growing up with Hemophilia. Hope that it does too with all those affected with and by Hemophilia.
